Following the success of Gawgaw: A Panto in the Dark, co-produced by Teatru Malta and Esplora, and L-Imbuljuta: A Panto in the Dark, produced by Spazju Kreattiv, the creative team are working on exciting new project: an original musical – in the dark!

The show strips away visuals to heighten all the other senses – a work of theatre backed by plenty of research and collaboration with blind artists and audience members. We believe this is what theatre is all about: a space where people can come together in communion, regardless of ability, gender, class, race and religion.

This brand new story tells the story of a young girl who finds that, even in the most difficult circumstances, life can be an extraordinary adventure. Weaving themes of family, illness, childhood, and hope, this multi-sensory adventure in pitch darkness promises to be fun, truthful, and heart-warming.
